ROG offers comprehensive eye examinations for all ages, including children. This involves a refraction, which is testing the vision and prescribing or updating glasses, and a complete medical exam. This includes evaluating the health of the eyes by using different instruments to ascertain that there is no pathology such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, eye muscle dysfunction, etc. Dilating the pupils is typically a part of this exam. Further in office testing may be recommended if there are any medical concerns.
In addition, patient visits for specific problems can be scheduled, including urgent and emergency care. We also provide consultations for patients seeking cataract surgery, eyelid problems and tearing, cosmetic lid surgery, glaucoma and medical/surgical care and second opinions.
